JAPAN TEXTURE Cases for iPhone 3G
August 16th, 2009 by iPhoneTechZone
Japan Texture is the name of these cases that are sold by a Japanese cellphone company Softbank. These cases are hand crafted and are known to be pretty expensive. Above are the 5 designs recently released and they go for $1000. They will fit the iPhone 3Gs or 3G.

JAPAN TEXTURE series consists of a total of five cases with different designs. Created under the supervision of a historian, SoftBank says each case is covered with special lacquer and gold dust. It takes three to four weeks to make one, which kind of explains the price.
The main idea of these cases is to show how Japanese warlords from the Sengoku period would probably use their iPhones if they lived today. Each case comes with a specially designed pouch, a booklet explaining the historical background of the design and a storage box.

February 4th, 2009 by iPhoneTechZone
iPhone, must be the most elegant piece you have. iPhone is very dedicated and the best part which enhances its beauty is the touch screen and the small apple at back, to protect this and for more durability I am introducing here the iPhone 3G Cases. The iSkin, available in iSkin Solo and Solo FX, is well known for making durable products that are also fashionable.

This is perfectly designed for iPhone and fits nicely to any iPhone 3G. iSkin has cool ultimate embossed pattern which adds a bit of flare in its beauty. As the enhance feature the Solo FX has additional touch of a mirror film that will surely make your compact jealous. This iSkin case is available in multiple colour choice which suits to anyone’s taste. This advanced structured iPhone case will protect your iPhone from unnecessary bumps, drops, and even changes in the temperature. The prices for these cases are very compatible as well, the Solo is available for $29.99 and the Solo FX for $32.99 which is really good price indeed.

SwitchEasy Colors iPhone 3G Case
January 26th, 2009 by iPhoneTechZone
How does it fit?
It fits nicely and protects the back. It also comes with two protective film layers – a anti-glare one and a non-anti-glare one. The film is your protection on the front.
How well does it protect the iPhone?
It protects the backside of your iPhone and exposes the bottom, the volume controls area, and the top part. The front is protected by film. So this is definitely not an all protective case if that’s what you’re looking for.
How does it look?

As you can see in the photo, you will notice that it resembles the previous version of Apple’s wireless mouse. For the white version, you could still slightly see the Apple logo and the other text on the back. In the end, not sure if it’s intentional, but you get a slight subtle gray Apple logo. It looks kind of cool.
Impressions
All the cases I’ve tried for iPhone and iPod touches so far have the entire case enclosing everything except the screen. This is the first time I’m using a case that exposes the front side of the iPhone. And I found that I actually prefer that because I realized the case that surrounds the screen usually gets in the way when typing.
Though not as protective, I think with the front surface exposed, it increases the usability. Typing and moving icons around are a lot easier to do.
My only gripe would be that the volume controls are hard to push as they are surrounded by the casing.
